The first seven questions are:

Who Should move out?

What are the options now?

What is Mediation?

What is Collaborative law?

Who goes to court?

What are our options with regard to the children?

What do we do next about money?

Find the answers you seek at our Divorce Workshops.

Plus any other questions you want to ask….

Anyone Contemplating Divorce or Separation

The Divorce Workshops will help you understand the process and the pitfalls.  The Divorce Workshops will point out the  information you need  to know at the start to help prevent you making costly mistakes – both financially and emotionally.

Anyone Hoping to deal with their own Divorce

The Divorce Workshops will tell you what you need to know so that you can decide what route is best for you:

1. Mediation

2. DIY Divorce

3.  Solicitor

4. Court Application

Anyone dissatisfied with their own Solicitor

The Divorce Workshops will help you understand what should happen, so that you can work out whether you need to change solicitor, a draining experience but sometimes necessary.

Anyone Interested in learning about Divorce

The course is suitable for journalists, researchers, trainees, or anyone who is interested in the Divorce process and the attendant Financial and Children Act matters

Anyone Contemplating getting divorced may be interested in a new resource:

Uglimediation

The new approach offered by UgliMediation is that they will mediate with you over the phone.

It is therefore now possible to mediate even if you and your partner are in different locations, or if you do not want to be in the same building as your ex – not so unusual a reaction.

More details will be available at the Divorce Workshops

I have arranged a Divorce Workshop at the Chilworth Manor in Southampton on 14th August 2010.

The Divorce Workshop will be limited in numbers so that you will have the opportunity to ask your own questions.

Any questions you wish to ask can be forwarded (anonymously if you choose) and there will be three  question and answer sessions during the Divorce Workshop.

The Divorce Workshops are there to help you – help you decide if you want to get divorced – help you decide if you can manage the divorce yourself – help you decide what the next step is!

How much will it cost?

What are my rights?

What will happen to my children?

Can I do it myself?

Can we instruct one solicitor?

How long will it take?

Should I move out of the house?

What is mediation?

If you have questions that need answering join us on a Divorce Workshop.

A lot longer than most people think!  Even if both parties are in agreement and promptly deal with matters it will take approximately six months.

There are 3 separate legal proceedings which can take place during divorce:

1.  The divorce itself

2.  Matters relating to Children

3.  Financial Issues

There can also be a forth -

Injunctions such as non molestation and occupation orders.

We will cover all of the aspects and how they interrelate with each other on the Divorce Workshops.

Is it does my husband having an affair affect how much I am entitled to?

Should I move out of the house?

Can I do the Divorce myself?

What is a Consent Order?

Let me know your 3 questions and I will include them in my Divorce Workshop. Nothing too specific – such as one gentleman who left a message on my voicemail telling me he was doing his own divorce but he needed to know urgently when the Court would issue his Decree Nisi!!

The first Divorce Workshop will be held at the Runnymede Hotel on 24 July 2010.  I promise you won’t be bored and it will be enlightening!
